Autumn will always have a special little place in my heart

Getting my cosy jumpers out and being able to snuggle up with a blanket and a cup of tea in the evenings is probably one of my favourite past times. There really is nothing better than being all snuggled up in a low-lit room with a candle on the go.

There are certain kinds of scents that just say Autumn to me, so I wanted to compile a little list of my favourite Fragrances that are just perfect for Fall!

Lancôme

La Vie Est Belle L’Éclat

“La vie est belle is a declaration to the beauty of life, the freedom to be happy. L’Eclat is the next chapter in our La vie est belle story, sharing your happiness with others through the beauty of a smile.” – theperfumeshop.com

This is the little sister to my all-time favourite perfume from Lancôme, ‘La Vie Est Belle’. It still has that classic vanilla base note but with a twist of sandalwood. Although woody, this is also very fruity and has just the right mix to make you smell AMAZING!

One thing that I love most about this fragrance is that, just like its big sister… it lasts all day long!

Overall, the fragrance is a nice mix of florals, woodiness and fruits! If you love the original La Vie Est Belle, then I definitely think this is one for your Christmas list!

Jean Paul Gaultier

Classique Eau Fraiche Limited Edition 2017

“Ginger, quintessential for Classique, has been overdosed with a gourmand effect: crystalline, reminiscent of a lemon sorbet; sharp, yes, but softened with sugar cane juice. Sugar cane, with a sensual edge from the Labdanum Neo. Vanilla is also present. But musk has the final word and goes rushing to your brain, making sure you’ll be back for more.” – theperfumeshop.com

Well… what can I say? the packaging alone is a reason that you need this in your collection!

Aside from the wonder-women-full packaging (excuse the pun) the way this makes you smell is just as wonderful!

This fragrance is a little simpler than most, with notes of vanilla, ginger and orange blossom. When I take in a big whiff of this, I think of Vegas. And that might sound strange, but if you’ve been you will know that the hotels all have their own smells. I’m pretty sure they spray perfume through the air-con? But this is what I think of… luxury shopping malls in Vegas hotels. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty okay with smelling like luxury!

Paco Rabanne

Lady Million Privé

“LADY MILLION Privé explores a new and thrilling intensity, astoundingly feminine. Its fruity oriental trail has a seductiveness of a flirtatious enchantress that is more elusive than ever. The luminous facet of heliotrope-vanilla is enhanced by an intense floral heart and lifted by a touch of juicy raspberry. The ultimate addiction of cocoa bean is unveiled over the voluptuous and pulsating honey-patchouli accord of the original fragrance.” – theperfumeshop.com

This one is another spin off from a classic fragrance that I once loved!

I’m not sure how to describe this smell other than YUM! It has notes of Coconut, Honey and Cashmere (amongst others) which kind of remind me of a classy woman who would probably buy her groceries in Harrods. It definitely has a scene of luxury about it, but a yummy sweetness at the same time.

If you like sweet smells with an edge, then this one is for you!

Lancôme

Oud Bouquet

“Explore the oriental fragrances of Ôud Bouquet Eau De Parfum from the exclusive Maison Lancôme collection with luxurious, feminine notes of wood & praline rose. An assemblage of a trio of bold Wood Essences chiseled by a Praline Rose signature. Twenty year old Oud Wood, paired with smoky accents of Gaïac Wood and contrasted by a soothing caress of Copahu Wood.” – theperfumeshop.com

This fragrance has probably replaced my all-time favourite love affair with the Lancôme La Vie Est Belle.

I was taken back by the beauty of the bottle (My picture doesn’t do it justice), and decided to give it a go. I took a risk and ordered this online based on just the Notes alone. One of the base notes being vanilla, so I felt pretty safe.

The top note of this fragrance is praline, which you can definitely smell in this. The fragrance reminds me of a forest in Autumn, with just a dash of the beach. Strange you might think, but if you smell this you will know what I mean. Well I hope so anyway…

Since purchasing this beauty I have been reaching for it pretty much every day and I think you will too.

Cartier

La Panthere

“A captivating fragrance that reveals a free-spirited and passionate woman. A feline-floral accord born from the fusion between a radiant and delicate gardenia with sensual musky notes. At the heart of the bottle, an internal sculpture draws the fascinating and majestic panther.” – theperfumeshop.com

Okay… so being completely honest, I originally picked this one up purely for the packaging. I’m not sure if you can really tell in the picture, but there’s a glass panther head in the bottle! See it? Cool right!?

I was not displeased when I smelt this and found that actually… it smells fricken amazing!

I knew instantly what this reminded me of when I sprayed it. Parma Violets! If you’re not familiar, they are a little round purple sweet that tastes like rainbows and unicorns just had a baby.

Basically… this smell is as amazing as the bottle and I’m pretty convinced that everyone should have this in their collection.

?

All in all, the perfumes above are a must have in anyone’s collection for Autumn and well… for the rest of the year as well to be honest.

Leave me a comment letting me know what your must have fragrance for fall is and whether or not you have tried any of mine. ?

Until next time…

xoxo
