Over the last couple of years I’ve gained a fair bit of weight and now I’ve finally decided to do something about it. I came across this brand and thought their shake plans looks really nice so thought id give it a go!
I got in touch with So Shape and luckily for me they agreed to work with me on a post to share my experience with you guys! They sent me out their 5 day plan to try and today i’m sharing my results.

Before I get into it, lets talk a little about the brand…
They are a French company, and to be honest are nothing like a lot of the shake diet plans I’ve seen before. They offer both sweet and savoury flavours and even things like mug cakes!

So I didn’t follow the plan exactly how you’re meant to. Instead of drinking 2 shakes a day, my food loving self decided I couldn’t only cope with replacing one meal a day, so I stretched the 5 day plan over 10 days instead. Even though I didn’t follow it exactly I still got really good results and am super pleased with the weight loss over the 10 days.
Overall I lost a total of 5 pounds, so about 1 every couple of days, which in my opinion is pretty darn good! I didn’t eat super low calorie meals for the rest of the time, I just ate a typical meal like pasta or something out of the freezer, and still managed to loose the wright.
One thing I would recommend with this is to make sure you still drink plenty of water, as I did find because I was having a liquid meal for lunch I didn’t drink as much as I would normally and had to make a conscious effort to keep drinking.
I am really pleased with my results and the actual product itself. The shakes taste really good, although there was one that I wasn’t that fond of (speoloos/ cinnamon cookie). I only samples the sweet shakes and haven’t managed to try any of the savoury flavours yet, but this is definitely something I would try again as and when I need to kick start a diet.
They do different plans over different lengths of time so there is something to suit everyone. They also have their ‘Smart Food‘ options so if you fancy a sweet treat like a muffin or some pancakes then you can still treat yourself on this plan.
Id definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to do a temporary shake diet. Its not something that you can or should try to sustain long term, but for a short period I think its great!
