Beauty Blender has been the original IT sponge since they first launched and have grown bigger and bigger in popularity as time has gone on.

While they are pricey for a sponge, there is something about them that other brands just cant replicate (as much as they have tried)!

“Amp up the energy with Electric Violet! Your favorite blender has gotten a glowing makeover. Inspired by the beauty who lights up the room, brighten up your own makeup routine with this vivid stunner. The same exclusive aqua-activated™ material as the original Beautyblender, you’ll always get a flawless finish and unbeatable bounce.”

As the brand has grown, so have its products and in more recent years they have ventured into creating the makeup as well as the tools!

I am still yet to try their foundation, but its definitely popular with most of the big you tubers and instagram influencers and I suspect these new products will be too!

“This do-it-all mist hydrates, adds luminosity, refreshes makeup, and gives versatility to your existing makeup. Created with a fine mist nozzle, it doesn’t disturb makeup so you can use it anytime, anywhere. Whether you want to revive dull skin mid-day or give a matte foundation a dewier look, skin looks just as glowing and gorgeous at 8pm as 8am.”

Beauty Blender has just launched its new Re-Dew spray, which acts as both a spritz to ‘re-dew’ your blender, as well as a refreshing face spray.

When I first got this, like with a lot of sprays, I was expecting the spritz to be a little aggressive. To my surprise this has the finest most perfect misty spray on anything I’ve every tried before!

Although it isn’t an aerosol, id compare the mist to the morphe prep and set spray. Thats how amazing it is!

One of the things I love most about this though is the formula, as I have found it helps to make the skin look a little more dewy if used over a matte foundation. This spray really is something special.

“Turn things up even more with this twisted spin on Electric Violet. The radiant purple hue is marbleized with white for a one-of-a-kind blender as unique as you. The same exclusive aqua-activated™ material as the original beautyblender, you’ll always get a flawless finish and unbeatable bounce.”

Of course their other cheeky release is two new colours to add to the every growing blender family!

We have the beautiful Violet Swirl and the Electric Violet sponges to enjoy. Now although these will inevitable loose their vibrancy after being washed 10 million times, and of course they will get dirty from use. While they’re clear, they are so pretty to look at!

There is just something about having a pretty sponge which makes me like it more than a plain one. Works the same but its just better lol.

Overall Thoughts…

These new bits from Beauty Blender are definitely something worth picking up, especially the sponges if you’re in need of a refresh.

I wouldn’t recommend the spray to people with oily skin, at least not for use on the skin anyway. You can still use it with the blender, but to be honest it seems like a bit of a waste. For those with dry – normal skin though id definitely recommend it!

Both items are available at Cult Beauty.

The Sponges are £17 and the Spray is £25.

Until next time…

*These products were gifted to me by the brand, but as always my opinions are my own.
